Founded in 1987, Primera Engineers, Ltd. (Primera) has been a long standing leader in the engineering industry. Primera is known for improving lives, not only through their dynamic design, innovative technology, and superior service, but also through their ability to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work.
Primera’s culture is based on connection, and that includes connecting with communities. Over the years, Primera has been involved in countless community events, fundraisers, educational programs, and mentoring. In 2018, the firm decided to be more intentional and focused with its giving by establishing the Primera Foundation – a new not-for-profit entity.
The Primera Foundation is the next chapter of Primera’s 30-year commitment to supporting STEM education in its local communities. It’s a formalization of Primera’s belief that all students should be given the opportunity to impact our world through science, technology, engineering, and math.
While our roots run deep in Primera’s past, the Foundation is a new entity with a strong, singular vision moving forward. The Primera Foundation’s giving is focused in four areas: Scholarships – for students to pursue STEM careers; Technology – helping to bring opportunity into classrooms that would otherwise have minimal access; Education – sharing our knowledge and supporting other charitable organizations teaching STEM to our youth; and Mentorship – developing our next generation of engineers and architects.
The belief that success comes from creating change is what gave life to the Primera Foundation. Formally established in December 2018, we are committed to providing education and access to STEM fields.
