Joe is known throughout the aviation industry as an advocate and ambassador for the profession, particularly as it relates to the development and advancement of young professionals. He is an active member in several professional organizations, including: the American Association of Airport Executives, the Airport Consultants Council (ACC), and the American Society of Civil Engineers.He is also committed to giving back to the community. Currently, he is a director of the Chicago Engineers’ Foundation and has served as a member of the Junior Board of Directors for the Children’s Medical Research Foundation.

Joe leads the Aviation Group at Primera Engineers and has nearly 15 years of experience in the transportation industry focused on project and team management. For the past several years he has primarily worked on a wide variety of airport and airline projects ranging from runways and taxiways, deicing facilities and ramp control towers, hangars and aprons, ground equipment maintenance facilities, fuel and glycol distributions stations, and corporate data centers. Joe has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, a Master’s in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University.
